Solar Investment Group has promoted, structured raised and fully invested two Funds: Solar Investment Group BV ("SIG Fund I") – a Dutch Investment Fund raised in November 2009. This fund invested €114m in 13 solar energy companies with a total combined capacity of 27MW. These plants, all located in Italy, were acquired between 2010 and 2011. Fund I is currently operating above budget and generating a levered IRR of over 16%. Solar Investment Group SIF S.C.A. ("("SIG Fund II") – a Luxembourg based regulated Fund which was created and approved by the CSSF. The fund invested €68m for the acquisition of 21.4MW of solar plants. The projected levered IRR is above 16%. We invested a total of €180m (Excluding VAT) in our first two funds (SIG Fund I and SIG Fund II) acquiring plants with a total combined capacity of 49MW, making SIG one of the leading players in the Italian market. The Solar Investment Group team also successfully arranged €140m of project finance debt with an average debt/equity ratio in excess of 80/20. The Power plants are: - ground-based installations using Silicon-based panels both with and without trackers - located in Southern (25 MW) and Central (23 MW) Italy - built by 7 different EPC contractors who manage and operate the plants through O&M agreements - all plants are in operation, with up to 3 years track record, and are all outperforming the initial business plan ........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
